Giorgos Bartzokas

Giorgos Bartzokas (alternate spelling: Georgios Bartzokas) (Greek: Γιώργος Μπαρτζώκας; born June 11, 1965) is a Greek professional basketball coach.

Coaching career

Bartzokas had been for many years the assistant coach of Panagiotis Giannakis in Maroussi. In 2006, he signed on as the head coach of Olympia Larissa. That same year, he managed to reach with Olympia the play-offs of the Greek A1 League for the first time in the club's history. The team finished 7th, and repeated the play-off qualification the next year, during the 2007-08 season.

In 2009, Bartzokas became the head coach of Maroussi.[1] In 2010, he was named the Greek League Coach of the Year.[2]
